Be careful not to forget the Lord. ~ Deuteronomy 6:12
This is a great example of my life. On Days 5 & 6 I was extremely busy with getting the kids ready to go back to school after a long winter break and just the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Due to my schedule, I didn't have the chance to post here. So now I am behind by two days.
Life can become hectic but we should always remember to make time for God. Making time for God will enhance our lives in ways we never knew possible. I know that God has great blessings instore for me. I can't wait to experience them all and rejoice in His name! Don't get so busy that you forget God!

Day 4: Study His Word
You will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following. ~ 1 Timothy 4:6
The Holy Bible has so much information need to live a Christ like life! We are so blessed to have such information right at our fingertips. I have not always immersed myself in God's word, I know little about many things. Along with the challenge of 100 days of prayer, I am also challenging myself to study more about what God has in store for my life and the lives of my children!

Day 3: Ask Him for the things you need
And yet the reason you don't have what you want is that you don't ask God for it. ~ James 4:2 NLT
It's easy to ask God for the small things that we feel are easy for God to fulfill. Many of us never think to trust God with the BIG things in our lives. By attempting to handle parts of our lives on our own and only trusting God with the "small, insignificant" things, we are missing out on the many blessings he has in store for us. God is waiting to give us our hearts desire if only we will trust in him. All we have to do is ask.
Today I am reminded that there is no prayer request to big for my God. Even though His answers are not always what we think they will be, He always answers, we just have to be willing to listen.
